Dr. Lekeisha Whitaker is a Louisiana native who attended Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana where she received a Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Biology. She later received a Masters (MS) degree in Biomedical Science from UNTHSC in Fort Worth, Texas prior to attending Texas A&M College of Medicine where she obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2009. She completed her Pediatric Residency Training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee in 2012. Dr. Whitaker is board certified and has been employed at Walter Leon MD PA since 2012. She is married with two children.
